Rainbow Clouds and Castle Cubbies Birthday Card | Art Impressions

Hello friends!  We are in week two of the Art Impressions' Kids at Heart challenge.  My inspiration card for this challenge uses the oh so adorable Castle Cubbies.

This is what it looks like with the doors and windows all closed.

This next photo shows them all open.

I just had to create a rainbow cloud for the castle's background!  I die cut the panel with a Rectangle Double Stitched die and added it to a top-folding A2 card base.  I have all of the supplies I used listed below.  I inked up a die cut grass piece and added it to the bottom of the panel.

After I colored the castle and the little people and critters, I used the included dies to cut them out.  I added foam tape to the back of the castle.  I colored some scrap paper a dark blue to put behind the window openings so the rainbow clouds didn't show through.

I hope you'll join in our current challenge!  Thank you so much for stopping by!
