Joy To The World | Honey Bee Stamps

Merry Christmas Eve my friends!  For this special day I've made a card to celebrate the season using Honey Bee Stamps beautiful Northern Star Cover Plate Honey Cuts and the Joy stamps and Joy Honey Cuts.   I absolutely love the layering word dies that Honey Bee carries!  Keep reading to see how I finished the inside of the card!

This card was quick and easy to make!  To begin I die cut a piece of dark blue card with the Northern Star Cover Plate die.  I trimmed it to 4" x 5-¼".   Then I used a couple Background Blender brushes to ink some Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot Distress inks around the edges.  I adhered the blue panel to a piece of gold glitter card stock with some Bee Creative glue.  I love the gold sparkling stars!  I adhered this to a top folding white A2 card base.

I used the same card stocks to die cut my layers of the Joy Honey Cuts.  I die cut the white top layer three times for extra dimension and adhered all of the layers together.  While the layers were drying I stamped "To The World" from the Joy stamp set with Versamark, sprinkled on some gold embossing powder and heat set it.  I layered some blue card stock behind it and die cut it with a Sentiment Banners Honey Cuts.   I waited until I finished the inside of the card before adhering this to the card front.

I don't usually finish the inside of a card, but I thought that this beautiful image from the Christ Is Born set went perfectly with the front of the card.

I used a piece of scrap card stock for this and stamped the manger from the Christ Is Born set in Versamark, sprinkled on some gold sparkle embossing powder, and heat set it.  I used the coordinating Honey Cuts to die cut Mary and Joseph and the star.  I adhered the pieces above strips of blue and gold glitter card stock.

To finish off the inside, I used a sentiment that's in the Christ Is Born set and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.

Thank you for stopping by today!  No matter how you celebrate this season, I am wishing all of the joy, peace, and happiness for you now and into 2021!
