**********************************************
For my card today, I've used the stunning Gardenia Duo Layering Stamp Set and the Mask Stencil set. There is a coordinating Gardenia Due Die set available that I didn't use today. I love Altenew's layering stamp sets and this one is so gorgeous!! Of course, it helps that gardenias are one of my favorite flowers--oh how lovely the blooms smell!
I began by stamping one of the two outline stamps from the Gardenia Duo set with clear embossing ink. I sprinkled on some Rose Gold embossing powder and heat set it. Then I covered the flower with its mask from the Gardenia Duo Mask Stencil set. I repeated the steps for stamping and embossing the next flower.
I didn't stamp the solid layering stamp, but stamped the second layer in a light beige ink to create some subtle shadow. I placed both masks over the flowers and stamped the leaves in Frayed Leaf ink. Next I adhered a frame I die cut from gold card stock with the Fine Frames Cover Die. I layered the panel onto some beige card stock and a top-folding A2 card base.
For a bit of bling I added a few sequins to finish up my card!
If you love gardenias like I do, you may want to check out the Gardenia Duo Stamp & Die & Mask Stencil Bundle! Be sure to leave a comment here for your chance a fabulous prize!
