Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Daffodil & Glitter Cardstock Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends!  I'm thrilled to be part of the blog hop for the beautiful Craft-A-Flower: Daffodil Layering Die Set and Glitter Cardstock!

You should have arrived here from the blog of Erin Thompson.  If you need to start at the beginning, head on over to the Altenew Card Blog.  This gorgeous new Craft-A-Flower is now available in the Altenew store.

Daffodils are one of my most favorite flowers in the spring time and I love this new Craft-A-Flower: Daffodil Layering Die Set!  And I do love glitter, so the new Glitter Cardstock is right up my alley!  If you find that it is out of stock, be sure to click the notify me and you will receive an email when it's available!

First I created my card background by dry embossing the Lacy Tile stencil and then blending a bit of yellow ink around the edges.  I added it to a yellow A2 top-folding card base.

Next I die cut the flower portion from various papers.  I used the lightest yellow in the Summer Afternoon Gradient Cardstock set, white card stock (which I colored with my Copic markers) and some gold glitter card stock from the Gilded Glitter set.  I used the layering guide to help me correctly adhere each layer and set it aside to dry.

Then I die cut the leaves and stems from Green Meadows Gradient Cardstock and Forest Canopy Glitter Cardstock sets.  Next I adhered them to the card with liquid glue and used a few foam squares for the daffodil.

I used a sentiment from the All About You Word Die Set and die cut the layers from Gilded Glitter card stock and some black card stock.

I hope you've found some inspiration here at my stop!  Thanks so much for stopping, and be sure to leave a comment before you go to the next stop for your chance to win!
