Hello my friends! I'm over on the Honey Bee Stamps blog today with this oh, so sparkly Christmas card! These products are part of the huge, and so amazing, Season to Sparkle release. Click HERE to see it all--there's something for everyone!
It was quite the challenge for me to photograph this card to capture the beautiful, sparkly glitter! I started this card by adhering a sheet of Scor-Tape double-sided adhesive to a 4" x 5-¼" warm gray card panel. I removed the backing and added some WOW! Glass Slipper glitter and then burnished it in. I wanted a warm gray background to better set off the snowflakes.
I then die cut a bunch of snowflakes from the Layering Snowflakes Honey Cuts two times each. FYI, there are 16 snowflake dies in this set!! I adhered the layers together and began arranging them on the glittered panel. I started arranging them from the center out, letting some hang over the edge. Once I was happy I glued them all down with Distress Collage Medium Matte. When it was dry, I cut off the parts hanging over the edge. I used a few of those extra pieces to fill in along the edge.
Next, I stamped the greeting from Christmas Blessings in Versafine Onyx Black ink and die cut it with the coordinating Honey Cut. I die cut the rectangle frame, also in the Christmas Blessings Honey Cuts, twice from white cardstock. I adhered the two scalloped edge pieces together. I covered some warm gray cardstock in double-sided adhesive and cut it out with the rectangle frame. I just used the center portion and added glitter after removing the backing. I popped up the pieces with foam tape and adhered the sentiment.
I love the dimension and the sparkle of this card!! And....just to add a bit more sparkle cause there's not quite enough, I added a Prism Gem Sticker to the center of the snowflakes!
There are so many ways to use these beautiful snowflake dies, and I hope I've given you some inspiration to give this set a try! Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful, crafty day!
