Happy Monday friends! Now that we are near the end of October, I've put away the Halloween stamps and have started working on some cards for friends and family to tell them how thankful I am for them. The Feast Mode Set is just perfect to create sweet and fun cards!
This was a very easy card to make! I began by stamping the squirrel and the floral swags in Copic safe ink. I also stamped the squirrel onto some masking paper and fussy cut it out. I put the mask in place and used some ink blending brushes to blend some Squeezed Lemonade and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks lightly around the image. Here's a look at the blending and after removing the mask:
I removed the mask (always kind of magical!) and colored the images with my Copic markers and added additional shading with a few Prismacolor Pencils. (All the colors are listed below.)
Once everything was colored I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I used a die from the Square Double Stitched Dies and cut it out. I cut some coordinating paper from my stash to layer behind the square. I used an embossing folder with some kraft color card stock and cut it to 4" x 5-1/4". I used one of the "E" shade Copic markers to color some twine to match better. I wrapped it around the kraft layer three times and tied with a knot. I added foam tape to the back and adhered it to a top-folding A2 card base.

Next I used liquid glue to adhered the colored images to the embossed layer. I wanted some kind of embellishment to put with the twine so I searched my stash and found an older die set that had acorns and leaves. I used a few Copics to color them and added Glossy Accents to the acorn tops.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Check back next week and I will have another card featuring this fun set! Have a fabulous, and crafty, week!
