Sharing my card here for my Honey Bee Stamps Sunday post on Instagram! I love purple and you probably know by now, ultra-violet is Pantone's color of the year. That's what inspired my little purple flowers for this Happy Birthday card.
All of the Honey Bee stamps and Honey Cut dies are listed below and can be shopped for HERE.
I just totally LOVE these Hexagon Cover Plate dies--there are so many ways to use them! I used the Stipple Layer on the very top hexagon layer, then adhered all the layers together. I used the middle cover plate die to cut a layer of fun foam for more dimension. (By using the middle layer on the fun foam, I didn't have to worry about it showing through.)
The flowers were colored with a few alcohol makers and I added some gold dots in the center with a gold pen. I die cut the Happy sentiment and then used the same purple alcohol markers to create an ombré type effect.
Here's a close-up photo that shows how beautifully these dies stack together and the dimension that they give you.
This card was a lot of fun to make, and I'm already thinking of other ways to use these awesome cover plate dies! Thanks so much for spending a moment to take a look--I really appreciate it!
