I decided to go bold with the Peruvian Lilys for my card today!

First I created the Peruvian Lilys by die cutting all of the flower pieces.  I used Cherry Blossom and Summer Afternoon Gradient Cardstock Sets, as well as some pink glitter card stock from my stash.  I didn't want the flowers to be overwhelmed with glitter so I only used the glitter card stock for one layer of the pieces.  For the yellow pieces of the flower, I used the lightest color card stock in the Summer Afternoon set and added some shading with a couple of Copic markers.  I did the same for the stamen pieces.  Next I adhered all of the layers with glue.  I love how dimensional and sparkly these are!

For two of the leaf layers I used green card stock from my stash that coordinated with some green glitter card stock in my stash.  I used a Copic marker to make the top layer darker.  Then I used liquid glue to adhere the layers together.

I decided to go for even more high drama and add the gorgeous flowers to a black background!  After I embossed the black card stock with the beautiful Areca Palm 3D embossing folder, I adhered it to a pink layer and added the panel to a top folding A2 card base.  I then arranged all of the elements and adhered the pieces with liquid glue, and some with black foam squares.

I stamped a sentiment from the Marbled Bloom stamp set and popped it up with black foam squares.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Be sure to leave a comment before heading to the next stop for your chance at some awesome prizes!
