Hello friends! Today I'm sharing this card featuring a very special sweet die set by Spellbinders called Sharon's Scissors. This set was designed to honor Sharon Klima, and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this set will be donated to the American Heart Association in Sharon's name.
I thought I'd share with you the description on the product packaging:

Sharon Klima was a "cut above the rest". Known for her warm, infectious smile and her love of paper crafting, Sharon was and always will be part of our crafting community. She played a vital role in the paper arts industry as a long-standing store owner, instructor, creator, and mentor. But she was more than just that...she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and a true friend to so many of us. Her warmth and kindness will always hold a special place in all our hearts. These scissors are dedicated to Sharon and her love of "fussy cutting".
The embossed layer of my A2 card is white cardstock embossed with the Heart Swag embossing folder. This embossing folder was one of the December, 2024 Club Kits. It is currently available for purchase at a fantastic reduced price! I'm glad it's still available as I thought it was perfect for this die set!
I die cut the scissors from Sharon's Scissors set three times from colored cardstock (listed below) and mat silver cardstock. I glued the scissors pieces together and added foam tape pieces to the back.
The sentiment dies are part of Sharon's Scissors set. I die cut them from teal cardstock and backed each one with black cardstock to help the die cut sentiments stand out a bit more.
When I die cut the scissors, I saved the hearts that were part of the scissor handles and used them as embellishments. Three are popped up with foam tape and the others are glued to the card.
Sharon's Scissors is the sweetest set and worth a purchase to support the American Hearts Association in Sharon's memory. I didn't know her, but knowing her story, I sure wish I had crossed paths with her. 💖
