The main part of this challenge is to use NBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff). One of the optional themes was to create a "hidden" word. I've seen this done before but never tried it.
I had a few NBUS dies and embossing folders that I used on these. I think they turned out adorable and would make a wonderful gift set. I'll definitely be making more!!
NBUS: MFT Grateful die/Spellbinders embossing folder EL-003 |
Here's a photo of all three that I made:
Other NBUS: Simply Said Hello: Avery Elle; Spellbinders EF ES-014
Inks used: SSS Hot Mama, Mint Candy, Willow
Background stamp: Fun Stampers Journey Lacy Trim
Used fun foam for popping up the word die cuts.
Thanks so much for taking a look! Your comments are greatly appreciated! :)
(P.S.: Darnell, I hope you are healing quickly!)
These are so pretty! That background stamp is just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the words popped up, and that lace background is delightful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful job you did with Darnell's suggestion of using the hidden word technique. I tried it and mine was a total flop! But you sure mastered it with these lovely cards!
ReplyDeleteOh my! I just realized that you are following my blog! So I came back to follow yours. You do such lovely work!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carol! Everything went well and I'm doing great - a bit slow, but that's to be expected. I have to give you a huge WOW for this set of sweet and very pretty hidden word cards! You make it look SO easy!! Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #9 and joining in the optional theme! Hugs, Darnell
