Happy Halloween | Art Impressions

Happy Monday friends!  I'm over on Art Impressions blog today with this fun Halloween card.  I've used one of the stamps in the Halloween Magic set for my card.

This card was very easy to create.  I used the two spider web stamps that are from the HM Accessory Set to create the background.  I stamped them with some kraft colored ink onto a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock.

I stamped the main image onto some Neenah 80# cardstock with Copic safe ink and colored it with the Copic markers that I've listed below.  I trimmed it down to a rectangle shape that ended up being 5" x 1-7/8".  I used some coordinating patterned paper from my stash for the layers behind it.

The sentiment inside the card is also from the Halloween Magic set.  I added a few of the spider webs  for interest.

Boo to You!!! for Art Impressions

Hello to you on this fine Monday!  Today is my day over on the Art Impressions blog and my card features this adorable Halloween Magic Set!



Yes!  The stars glow in the dark!!  I stamped the stars in WOW! Regular Glow-in-the-Dark embossing powder.

Since my card base is black I used an Art Impressions A2 Stitched Rectangle die to cut a panel from white card stock and stamped the sentiment inside.

I really love how the background really highlights the sweet girl and her cat!

Week 2 - Art Impressions Challenge #239 - Treat Bags!!

Hello to you all!  It is Week 2 of Art Impressions' Treat Bag challenge.  The challenge is to make treat bags!  Your treat bags can be for any occasion at all:  birthday, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas--well you get the picture!

I'm using images from the new Halloween Magic Set to create my matching set of treat bags, two ways, plus a matching card.  Wouldn't these be fun to give to that very special little trick or treater?!

For my first treat bag I've used a small kraft bag to hang my tag on.  I've used a metal clip so the recipient can remove the tag and read the sentiment you have written on the back.

My next treat bag is using a cellophane bag.  I've attached my stamped image panel to a flap that closes the bag with goodies inside.  For this label, I've colored the word Halloween to look like candy corn!  

Finally, I have a matching card that could be used with a treat bag, or just given by itself!
