*********************************************
I was in the mood for coloring this time so I pulled out my markers and had lots of relaxing coloring time! Check out the details below.
First, I die cut all of the dies for the Craft-A-Flower: African Daisy from 80# white cardstock. I used my Copic markers to color all of the parts. I layered each one to see where to add my darker shading on the first and second layers for a more dimensional look.
Next I followed the included layering guide and adhered each layer to create my flowers. I added a drop of glue to the top of the stems to adhere them to the flowers.
I created my card base by layering some kraft cardstock and white cardstock that I embossed with the Deck Planks 3D embossing folder. The white layer was trimmed to 4" x 5-¼". For the sentiment, I chose one from my very first Altenew set I bought (and still a much loved favorite) called Beautiful Day. I stamped it in black ink, trimmed it and adhered it to the card with some foam tape.
For some sparkle, I swiped a clear glitter pen over the flower petals! I wish photos showed it better!
