Hello Honey Bee friends! Welcome to Day 1 of the Honey Bee Stamps Bee Mine blog hop!
You should have arrived from the awesome Jessica Frost Ballas. If you need to start from the beginning, click HERE. Honey Bee Stamps will be giving away a $25 gift card each day of the hop. To be eligible to win, be sure to hop and comment on each stop along the way. I have the complete list of today's hop at the end of this post.
For this hop I've created a new card using one of the stencils from the two-piece set Flutter Hearts stencils.
I applied three colors of Gina K. Designs Glitz Glitter Gel through the stencil onto some pink card stock. I used White, Bubblegum, and Red Velvet. I also applied some of the Bubblegum color to a scrap piece to die cut the middle layer of the XOXO Honey Cuts. Once the gel was dry, I used a Scallop A2 Card Frame die to cut the stencil piece out and adhered it to a top-folding A2 card base. I cut the bottom and top layers of the XOXO from Neenah 80#, adhered all three layers together and popped it up with foam tape.
I stamped the other sentiment that's from the XOXO stamps in black ink and die cut it with the coordinating die.
This is such a fun stencil to use and I love the larger size of the XOXO!
