NICU Card Drive & Blog Hop
It is my honor to design a card as part of Honey Bee Stamps participation in Lea Lawson's Card Drive and Fundraiser for NICU Parents. If you missed it, HERE is Lea's link so you can read her story and why she is doing this wonderful thing. She also has more information on donating, if you can. Here is the link if you'd like to go directly to the page: nicuparents-1162699 Another way to help is by making a card(s) and sending it to her. There are MANY great companies participating in this blog hop so be sure to click on Lea's link to get started!
I created this card using Lea's mood board as inspiration.
I went with some wood paper for my frame. I have it layered with three more layers so the frame is above my inked cloud and grass background. I colored the flowers, foxy and the butterflies. The flowers are mounted on dimensional glue dots as is foxy.
I added the sentiment using different words from the Bee-You-Tiful Sentiments. I would hope that it conveys the message that they are not alone and that they have other people to lean on for support during a difficult time.
Thanks for taking a look & I hope you've enjoyed my card! All of these supplies are available in the Honey Bee Stamp shop.

What a darling design, Carol, and I love the beautiful sediment! Planting your perfectly colored foxy in the garden was such a fun idea! Doesn't she look like she has her eyes closed to better enjoy the heady fragrance from the blossoms, just like human smellers do?! And the dimension is genius with the triple framing and popped-up elements! Happy Mother's Day! Hugs, Darnell
