Haha! Love the title for this day's class in Altenew Academy! I really think I set a personal record for how quickly this card came together!
I used the same Distress Ink colors that Laura Basson did in the lesson. I used the gorgeous flower from Altenew"s Beautiful Day. The sentiment is from that set too. The clear dew drops (that's what I call them :) are from Pretty Pink Posh and are officially called droplets.
This was really fun to make and I thought it turned out pretty good. My test is always "would I send it to someone". LOL!
Thanks for taking a look!
Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I would send it someone...maybe- sometimes I love my cards so much that I can't send them....One for me, one for you!
ReplyDeleteCarol, this is gorgeous, and I love the smoosh resist technique and your beautiful colors! I must try this, because what a stunning card! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteCheryl, you're so sweet! Thank you very much! Hugs back to you!
DeleteWow, love the way you used this amazing set, Carol! Beautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteI just found your card on Pinterest. It is STUNNING!
ReplyDeleteUm, yeah, you could send it to someone and that someone would FRAME it, Carol! This is spectacular!! I just found this on Pinterest and had to come let you know I love it. I think I remember you from the Online watercolor class. Could you add a follow button or a subscribe by email button so I can catch all your posts, please? And let me know if you do, please? Thank you! Hugs, Darnell (darnell dot knauss at g mail dot com)

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Carol!!! Would you mind confirming which Altenew Academy class you learned this in? (I'm having a little trouble finding it)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Keisha! The lesson for this is in the class titled: Clean, Simple, and Colorful Techniques.
