Oh, The Places You'll Go!

The second I saw this awesome sentiment in Honey Bee Stamps' February release,  I knew just how I wanted to use it.

As many of you may know, there is a Dr. Seuss book of the same title!  When was the last time you read it?  Maybe as a child, maybe you've read it to your children when they were growing up.  If it's been a while, I encourage you to pull that book out and read it again!  This book is so encouraging, for all of life's ups and downs, and is a good read no matter what your age is!

So now you know my inspiration for using this sentiment and for the colors I used!  I love this bee just soaring off, with the beautiful balloons from the new Penny the Platypus set, followed by his/her supportive and encouraging "bee squad"!  LOL!  Just a reminder that we always have those in our lives that are there for us no matter what!!

All of that aside, this sentiment from the Congrats Grad set, is perfect for so many occasions.  Of course, my card is good for any graduation, however, it would work for an encouraging card for a new job, or a big move.

I inked the background in similar colors of the the Dr. Seuss book.  The balloons and bees were colored with various Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

Here is closed up of the bees--I popped up the larger one and they all have sparkly wings and shiny black bands.

This book was given to our oldest daughter by my dear mother- and father-in-law, whom we miss very much.  They gave it to her just before she began kindergarten and wrote in it: "you can read this before you start kindergarten, and anytime you start something new."  What a perfect message!

You can find all of the new release plus the other awesome products in Honey Bee Stamps shop HERE.  As always, thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look!

Here are the supplies I used:
Honey Bee Stamps:  Congrats Grad, Penny the Platypus
Honey Bee Stamps Honey Cuts (dies):  Partly Cloudy, Busy Bees
Distress Inks:  Squeezed Lemonade, Blueprint Sketch, Worn Lipstick, Mowed Lawn
Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and clear sparkle pen
Glossy Accents
